Leadership reflections & small experiments for staying human at work.

Every couple of weeks, I share leadership reflections, insights, and small experiments for staying human at work. Always with an invitation to stay curious…open to possibilities.

Are you with the CIA?

What if…you listened for the question behind the question?

This week, listen for a sideways question – the joke, the offhand comment – the one that might signal that someone is still assembling their story. Still deciding.

Get curious about what’s behind it.

What are you – or they – really trying to understand?

What if you honored the ordinary?

What if…you honored something seemingly ordinary today?

This week, find one ordinary “door” you usually walk past - literal or metaphorical. Pause long enough to actually see what’s there. Then offer some small gesture of recognition: a word, a note, a moment of attention. A small practice of noticing what’s good before time changes it, even when the changes end up being good, too.

What does pausing reveal that rushing past never has?

Let’s stay in touch.
